I rarely eat white rice...but when I do I like it coupled with something bursting with flavor.

One day I was anxious to use a blend of creole seasonings that I bought from Bart Blends. Just a whiff of it makes you reminisce about dining in America's southern states.

Since this was my first time making shrimp and gravy I decided to keep things simple.

I sautéed onions and sliced green peppers first. Shrimp seasoned with creole spices followed once the onions and peppers were softened up. I made gravy separately and combined it with everything else in the end.

Add side of white rice and you've got yourself the perfect meal for a cold winter afternoon!

Here's a link to the Bart website where they sell various products: https://bart.co.uk/products

I'm looking forward to exploring more of their products and getting creative in the kitchen.
