The Air Fryer - My Favorite Kitchen Toy

Great tasting food. Healthier cooking. Faster cooking times.
I used to skeptical about air fryers. Sure, on several occasions I found myself glued to an infomercial for an airfryer at 2am. But I always had questions.
Can these cook food really well? Is it going to just dry food out? Frying without immersing in oil? Can it really be a healthier option?
During Black friday 2019, I decided to add a few kitchen toys. I was watching my brother Walt post pics of his food and decided that I needed to get back my passion for cooking. I found a good deal on an air fryer and took the plunge. To say that I love this kitchen toy is an understatement.
I currently have the NuWave Brio 14qt Air Fryer Oven. I use it to cook my meals at lease 5 times a week.
I can make fried foods that taste like they are fried even without oil. This was the biggest thing that had me giving infomercials the side eye at 2:32am. But I have made fried chicken and shrimp in my air fryer that you would swear was deep fried. The texture and the crunch is there, all while remaining flavorful and juicy. My recipe for fried chicken wings, using pork rind crumbs, is not only crispy and flavorful, but carb free. A no carb, oil free fried chicken? Yes indeed...I am never going back to deep frying chicken. Air fryers also make excellent fries - no oil is needed!

I can cook faster. As a father of 3 with a demanding job, time is always of the essence. Most foods cook much faster in the air fryer. I love making whole roast chicken and pork shoulders. I can cook them in under an hour (depending on weight)

The NuWave brio has a rotisserie function. Watching my chicken, pork or beef roast turn while cooking is really cool! And regardless of the mode, the excess fat drips into a tray as opposed to the food sitting in it.
Great tasting food. Healthier cooking. Faster cooking times. This product is a no brainer for all cooking enthusiasts to have one of these sitting on their counter.
